HYDROFOIL CRAFT IN NAVAL OPERATIONS. VOLUME II. NON-ASW HYDROFOIL MISSION SURVEY

Abstract

This report summarizes the findings of a survey of non-ASW operations in which hydrofoil craft may be employed. The purpose of the survey was to analyze the various roles which the vehicles would be required to perform and to determine those for which the hydrofoil had the greatest applicability. Conclusions are drawn regarding the specific applications which appear most attractive and the need for more detailed analysis of specific tasks at some later date. (Author)
