Full-Scale Field Tests of Dome and Arch Structures

Abstract

Tests are described for dome and arch structures. The primary objectives of the test were to determine the blast-wave loading on dome and arch structures, determine the response motions of domes subjected to blast-wave forces, and check the performance of a large blast door after being subjected to blast-wave forces.
