DATA INTERFACE FOR MOL SECONDARY EXPERIMENTS
Abstract
This report documents the results of a study undertaken to clarify the data interface between the MOL vehicle and the Secondary Experiments. The principal product of the study is the collection of Data Requirements Worksheets, which identify all of the known parameters and describe their processing requirements. The information used to compile the worksheets was obtained from work already accomplished and in many cases from telephone contacts with the sponsoring agency or interested Aerospace personnel. In some cases, the interface has been simplified or otherwise changed from that previously contemplated. The following two notes of warning are given regarding the utilization of these results: The interface has not been negotiated in every case; and both the indicated requirements of the experiments and the provisions of the MOL vehicle can be expected to change considerably with the passage of time.
