NOISE HAZARDS ASSOCIATED WITH AIRCRAFT OPERATION WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO T.S.R.2 AT BOSCOMBE DOWN

Abstract

This report describes in general terms how the aircraft noise hazard is being dealt with at the Aeroplane and Armament Experimental Establishment at Boscombe Down. It reprints W. Burns' damage risk criteria, and examines recent T.S.R.2 noise level measurements against those criteria. Recommendations are made to minimize the hazard.
