TITAN III/MOL, 156-INCH SOLID ROCKET MOTOR DESIGN CONSTRAINTS REPORT (TWO CENTER SEGMENTS)

Abstract

This document establishes the restraints and criteria for the design and test of an improved Stage 0 to be used with the Titan III/MOL booster. The new Stage 0 involves three system segments. These are two identical new 156-inch diameter solid rocket motors, the auxiliary equipments and subsystems necessary to integrate these motors to the existing Titan III core, and the AGE for on-pad assembly and checkout of this stage at the Initial Launch Capability (ILC) facility at AFWTR.
