FUEL SYSTEM Z((XQ-5-1))ZFLOW RATE TESTS.
Abstract
A series of tests was run to determine the fuel flow characteristics of the fuel system in horizontal, 30 degrees climb and dive attitudes. The total fuel flow supplied to the engine was found to be satisfactory at all attitudes tested, even though the individual tank flow contribution and time of exhaustion varied with attitude.
