RESEARCH IN FLUORINE CHEMISTRY.

Abstract

This report describes research on the synthesis of inorganic fluorine compounds using corona-discharge techniques. Experiments were carried out on the nature of the corona discharge obtained with a radio-frequency generator and an audio-frequency pulse generator. Tge effect if the nature of the discharge on the products obtained is discussed. Most of the effort was devoted to reactions between F2 and NOF and between F2 and BrF5. (Author)
