FIRING/OBSERVATION PORT KITS FOR M113 ARMORED PERSONNEL CARRIERS.

Abstract

Firing/observation ports for the M113 armored personnel carrier were evaluated during combat operations by Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN). Because of ARVN troops' practice, of adding side-firing machineguns and using the APC with top hatches open, there is no requirement for firing/observation ports. (Author)
