COMMERCIAL SUPERSONIC TRANSPORT ENGINE. VOLUME IX E ENGINE. PART 2. TECHNICAL. SECTION A. ENGINE PERFORMANCE. PHASE II-A. DATA SUBMISSION.

Abstract

A summary of the performance data applicable to the STF219 engine is presented in this section for sea level static and a 1000-foot altitude, at airspeeds up to 200 Knots. These data may be scaled directly to the size powerplants being considered by the airframe manufacturers. The data may also be extracted from the Model Specification, Volume II-E, of the Phase II-A Data Submission. Curves are presented of takeoff thrust, specific thrust, and fuel consumption for standard day, sea level takeoff, over the specified range of airspeed. The same performance data for hot day (Standard + 27 F) operation is presented. Curves of performance at 200 Knots airspeed and sea level simulating approach conditions are presented for standard day conditions, and for hot day conditions.
