SMALL HIGH PERFORMANCE INTERCEPTOR RESEARCH.

Abstract

This document summarizes results of the 1966 High Performance Interceptor research program. The objective of this program was to develop the techniques and design data which would allow development of high acceleration interceptors. Major areas of investigation include high-g solid propulsion, high response attitude control methods, high-g, high angle-of-attack aerodynamics, and methods of determining integrated missile effectiveness. Summaries of the work accomplished and results obtained in each area are presented along with reference to the formal documentation covering each area. (Author)
