EXTENDED RANGE ANTISUBMARINE ROCKET DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT.

Abstract

The increasing effectiveness of shipboard sonar systems allows the detection and identification of submarines at distances beyond the reach of the present Antisubmarine Rocket (ASROC). The Extended Range ASROC (ERA) solid propellant motor was developed to utilize this technological advancement. (Author)
