A STUDY OF THE EXPLOSION LIMITS OF SIMPLE DIFLUORAMINO COMPOUNDS.

Abstract

Explosion limits for 1,3-bisdifluoramino propane were established. The chain branching step involves a unimolecular decomposition of the chain carrier NF2-CH2-CH-CH2-NF2. In the absence of a low temperature limit chain-branching occurs in the gas phase and chain destruction at the surface only. The limit data indicate a constant pd2 product instead of the usual p2d2.
