PRESSURE SENSITIVE CHEMICALS FOR USE IN MARKING AND DETECTION OF PERSONNEL

Abstract

Research studies were conducted to develop a pressure sensitive personnel detection system. This work resulted in a unique chemical system and device which when actuated by pressure yields an audible response and marking capability. Demonstration was made at Eglin Air Force Base during February 1967 in cooperation with monitors of the Air Force Armament Laboratory, AFATL (ATCB).
