ADVANCED SUBMARINE TACTICAL ATTACK CONTROL SYSTEM.

Abstract

This report provides the initial specifications for an Advanced Submarine Tactical Attack Control System, utilizing a general purpose digital computer processor and multiple cathode ray tube-type displays. It will be used as the basis to test, demonstrate, evaluate, and, where necessary, improve or alter the concepts described. This will be accomplished, first, in the laboratory utilizing a UNIVAC RR-1107 computer system with three 23-inch CRT displays and second, at sea utilizing a UNIVAC CP-1289 computer and two (ultimately three) 17-inch CRT displays.
