FLIGHT- AND BENCH-TEST RESULTS WITH THE RADAR SET R14A.

Abstract

The Radar Set R14A was evaluated to determine its applicability for use in Navy aircraft. The program included bench checks of the system and flight tests of its various modes of operation. It was concluded that the system was impractical for use in light-attack aircraft because of its bulk and weight. (Author)
