SENSITIVITY FUNDAMENTALS.

Abstract

Stanford Research Institute is studying the following fundamental sensitivity properties of difluoramino compounds: (1) The low-velocity detonation (LVD) wave characteristics of the liquid phase, (2) The relation of shock sensitivity and failure diameter to the flow and the chemical reaction rate behind the shock front, and (3) The mechanism and kinetics of thermal decomposition of the compounds in solution and in the gas phase.
