Abstract

Hydraulically driven device pays out and retrieves towable arrays, floating-wire antennas, or other sensing leads while the submarine remains submerged. Puller is positioned well aft on the submarine deck to avoid entanglement with screws, rudders, and maneuvering planes, serves as a helper for a cable reel in a more accessible location. Control cables extend through glands to the operator area. (Author)
