VISUAL FACTORS RELATING TO OPTICALLY-CONTROLLED INDIRECT-FIRE POINT TARGET WEAPONS,

Abstract

This report advises the Army concerning the feasibility of optically-controlled indirect-fire point target weapons particularly with respect to the human visual limitations placed on such a system and finds that in the current state of the art such systems will be marginally feasible and are likely to be operational only during optimal conditions.
