Abstract

The mission of the 55th Medical Group provides command and control units responsible for hospitalization, evacuation, and area medical support of United States Army Vietnam (USARV) and other Free World Military Assistance Forces (FWMAF) located in Corps Tactical Zone II, North (CTZ II-N), to include the Provinces of Kontum, Binh Dinh, Pleiku, Phu Bon, and so much of Phu Yen Province located north of horizontal grid line BQ - CQ 60.
