Alternative Hosting and Protective Measures.
Abstract
This report presents the results of a survey and analysis of alternative means of supporting and providing fallout protection for a temporarily enlarged population in an area adjacent to a major metropolitan center. Published and unpublished information on facilities, equipment, and supplies available in the area was obtained from a variety of sources. An evaluation was made of the capability of these resources, under various configurations, to support displaced individuals or groups in addition to the indigenous population. (Author)
