Lessons Learned, Headquarters, 269th Combat Aviation Battalion

Abstract

The primary mission of the 269th Combat Aviation Battalion Headquarters is to provide command, control, staff planning and supervision for its assigned aviation units. The mission of the subordinate assault helicopter companies is the airlifting of troops in airmobile operations. The mission of the Battalion's assault support helicopter company is logistical and tactical airlift of troops, supplies and equipment. There has been no change in the Battalion missions during this reporting period.
