Abstract

The period was highlighted by the removal of the HHB, employed as an Artillery Control Element, from Lai Khe back to Phu Loi, by the conversion of A and B Btry's to the lightweight M102 howitzer, and by C Btry firing the 500,000th round expended by this battalion since its arrival in Vietnam.
