COLORED MUTANTS OF PUCCINIA STRIIFORMIS WEST

Abstract

Colored mutants of puccinia striiformis were studied from natural mutation of fungi that produced white pustules rather than the normal orange pustules. the mutant morphology, infective characteristics, germination and color were observed in the many host passages.
