THE OPTIMIZATION OF SATELLITE RECONNAISSANCE BY THE APPLICATION OF DYNAMIC PROGRAMMING TECHNIQUES

Abstract

This paper points out the application of dynamic programming techniques to the optimization of a satellite reconnaissance system with a con strained picture-taking capability. The technique is illustrated by an example and a brief description of a possible implementation procedure.
