THE DEPENDENCE OF ETA ON LINE BREADTH OF THE SPECTRAL LINE R(4) OF HYDROGEN FLUORIDE

Abstract

This analysis is a study of the variation with pressure of the true line shape of R(4) in the HF band. A modified Lorentzian line shape in which the exponent was found to be only a function of the distance from line center fitted the experimental points.
