ILLUMINATION IN GROUP SHELTERS, PART 2

Abstract

A prototype light admitting device (LAD) was built and tested based on the arrangement suggested in Part I of this report. The test indicated that illumination of group shelters was feasible by this method periods of sun light. Illumination levels found by the test are given and various parameters of the use of LAD are discussed. Improvements in design based on experience with the prototype are also discussed.
