SIGNIFICANCE OF CERTAIN FISH SOUNDS

Abstract

The report is on biohydroacoustics. In it, the sounds made by some fish are described; their signal and biological significance are elucidated, and experiments are described for finding out the capabilities of fish in determining the direction of sources of underwater sounds.
