HIGH DIELECTRIC CONSTANT MATERIALS AND FERROELECTRICITY

Abstract

This final report sums up the advances made during a three year study in: theoretical understanding of the onset and frequency response of ferroelectricity; techniques of growing single crystals and preparing ceramics of reproducible properties; chemical analysis and synthesis of high-dielectric-constant materials; effects of cation substitution; measurement techniques; and the interpretation of optical and electric spectra and conduction phenomena.
