ULTRASONIC WELDING PROCESS AND EQUIPMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ELECTRON-TUBE MOUNTS

Abstract

Results of welding 82 combinations of materials and geometries are presented. An evaluation program for all successfully welded combinations was established. Progress in the effort to use ultrasonic welding in the manufacture of three specific electron tubes is reported.
