Abstract

Literature dealing with the properties of crys talline sulfides of lanthanum and actinium series metals in reviewed. Data presented in tabular form include the ratio between the radius of the sulfur atom and the radii of the metal atoms, specific resistivity, thermal E.M.F., heat of formation, bond length in oxysulfides, magnetic mommoment, and the dependencies of crystal lattice periods on the atomic number of the metal.
