DERIVATION OF RELIABILITY FORMULAS FOR A THREE DIMENSIONAL MATRIX OF EQUIVALENT COMPONENTS

Abstract

A set of equations is developed that describe the reliability of any three-dimensional matrix of equivalent components. In addition, the report gives the step-by-step mathematical sequence used in deriving the general equations from the equations for the most simple two-dimensional parallel-series arrangement of components.
