DESIGN TECHNIQUES FOR FLIGHT CONTROL SYSTEMS IN NUCLEAR RADIATION ENVIRONMENTS.

Abstract

The heating and activation problems of radiation from typical aerospace fission reactor power sources, and the use of self-shielding to mini mize radiation damage have been investigated for flight control instrumentation. Emphasis is placed on the methodology an instrument designer may use to cope with these problems. (Author)
