INTEGRATED PRECISION TUNING SYSTEM

Abstract

A review of the work performed during the first phase of this program is presented. A description of the design considerations and problem areas leading to the present design of a voltage controlled integrated precision tuning system is given. Data on the Digital Coarse Tuning Scheme is presented as well as schematics and description of operation. A discussion of voltage variable capacitor characteristics required to accomplish octave tuning is also presented. Dc-to dc regulated converter and staircase generator designs are presented.
