MEDICAL SCIENCE IN HUNGARY,

Abstract

At the request of the Soviet Academy of Medical Sciences, in 1961 Academician Dr. Istvan Rusznyak, president of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Magyar Tudomanyos Akademia), delivered a detailed lecture in which he informed the presidium of the Soviet Academy of Medical Sciences about the development and present state of medical science in Hungary. The abridged text of the (Biological Sciences-Medical Specialties, TT, v. 9, no. 6) lecture is presented, on the basis of the original article that was published in Vyestnik AMN SSSR (Hungarians editors note).
