WEBBED DENDRITIC SILICON SOLAR CELL RADIATION EFFECTS INVESTIGATION
Abstract
Initial work toward maximizing the radiation resistance of silicon webbed dendritic solar cells is discussed. Design considerations, techniques for fabricating cells of 1 ohm cm resistivity, and steps preparatory to radiation damage study are presented. Efficiencies as high as 12.4% were achieved on solar cells made from 1 ohm-cm n-type silicon webbed dendrites.
