DISTILLING SEA WATER WITH DIESEL GENERATOR WASTE HEAT

Abstract

NCEL investigated the amount of available from a 60-kw generator and tested a waste heat still for operation in conjunction with the generator. Test results have shown that approximately 200 gph of distilled water can be produced by the waste-heat still and the combination of units is feasible.
