DIODELESS MAGNETIC CORE LOGIC CIRCUITS

Abstract

The ability to perform all the basic logic functions associated with memory, and-gates, or gates, and not-gates by using circuits composed only of square loop magnetic cores and interconnecting wire is reported. A design procedure is given for all the basic logic circuits, a coincidence detector, and a shift code counter. These circuits were developed using miniature ferrite cores that have switching times on the order of microseconds.
