SPATIAL FILTERING

Abstract

The mathematical relationships for filtering in a space domain are developed in a general analogy with temporal filtering. Cases in which the ele ments of the filtering system are continuous crete are discussed. General examples of spatial filtering and the realization of such filters are shown.
