INDIAN OCEAN STATION BUFFER (IOSB) MILESTONE 4

Abstract

The Indian Ocean Station (IOS) Buffer System is a CDC 160C computer system which provides a vehicle-oriented link between a remote tracking station, a 1604 computer and the Data Analy sis/Technical Advisor, Data Presentation, and Multi-Ops complexes. The program system will process prepass and telemetry data for one vehicle and site each time it is operated. The IOSB is a modification of the existing Bird Buffer System. Although the system is primarily intended to support IOS, it can support other stations with teletype equipment.
