MEASUREMENT OF RADIOACTIVITY AT THE CZECHOSLOVAK WATER WORKS LABORATORIES COMPARED WITH FOREIGN MEASUREMENT TECHNOLOGY.
Abstract
The Czechoslovak Water Works employ extremely sensitive and accurate methods to measure non continuous over-all beta-activity and the radium content of water, using uncomplicated instru ments. The basic principles of measuring water radioactivity, established by the CSSR Academy of Sciences, have been used. This article points out their advantages over other principles of measurement.
