Fabrication of Ultrafine Beryllium Wire

Abstract

The results of work which was directed toward development of a process for the production of ultrafine beryllium wire by warm drawing techniques are described. Using conventional drawing techniques, a minimum beryllium wire diameter of 0.001420 in. was attained.
