A STUDY OF SPATIAL VARIATIONS IN MICROMETEOROLOGICAL PARAMETERS

Abstract

A study was made of the turbulent exchange coefficients based on energy balance and mean flow parameters measured at Project Green Glow. It reveals that the ratios of the exchange coefficients are functionally related to thermal stability, thereby contradicting those postulates which have assumed constancy of the ratios for all stability situations.
