TUNGSTEN FORGING DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Abstract

A scaled-up thin section configuration and tooling sequence for verification of the Phase V forging process was designed. Arc melted and extruded tungsten billet stock were procured to specification. Billets of hot-cold worked and recrystallized structures are to be forged and evaluated.
