A STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF A PROGRESSING SURFACE PRESSURE ON A VISCOELASTIC HALF-SPACE,

Abstract

Stresses in a viscoelastic half-space due to progressing surface pressure. Approximations in problems of viscoelastic wave propagation. Evaluation of the stresses in a viscoelastic half-space which are produced by a progressing time-decaying surface pressure.
