NF RESISTOR FACTORIAL LOAD LIFE TEST.
Abstract
This project is concerned with performing a factorial load life test on hermetically sealed, glass NF resistors. The results of this test will be in the form of detailed load life performance data. Resistors of two rated power dissipating capabilities, 1/8 watt and 1/4 watt, will be tested. In this factorial test approximately 22,000 resistors will operate at a combination of temperatures of 70, 100, 125, and 150 C and power dissipating levels of one time, two times, three times, four times, and five times their normally rated power for 2000 hours. In addition, 450 resistors will be tested for 10,000 hours at 70 C at their rated power. (Author)
