EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS ON THE LIGHT SCATTERING OF COLLOIDAL SPHERES. VII. RESOLVING POWER OF THE -SPECTRA METHOD FOR DETERMINING SIZE DISTRIBUTION CURVES,

Abstract

A method previously described for determining size distribution curves from spectra of the scattering ratio (depolarization spectra) was applied to ''monodisperse'' Dow latices of polystyrente. It was found that the method is sensitive enough to detect and to evaluate quantitatively the degree of heterodispersity in these nearly monodisperse systems. (Author)
