Abstract

This report covers the results of exposure of 15 plastic materials to outdoor aging for 3 years at Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, New Jersey. Specimens of each material were removed every 6 months and all tensile properties were evaluated. Each material is covered in a separate Appendix. This appendix covers: polyethylenes, epoxide, phenolic, polyesters, nylon, polyurethanes, acetals, polyethers, and some fiberglass filled composites of the foregoing resins. (Author, modified-PL).
