A COMPARISON OF THE TEG-F, CHROMATOGRAPHIC, AND SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC METHODS OF CREOSOTE ANALYSIS,

Abstract

A number of blends of four petroleum oils in creosote and creosote-coal tar solution were analyzed by the TEG-F, chromatographic, and spectrophotometric methods of creosote analysis. The chromatographic and spectrophotometric methods were considerably more accurate and have wider application than the TEG-F method. (Author)
