DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF THREE-WATT KU-BAND TRAVELING-WAVE TUBE.

Abstract

The helix was lengthened, and the attenuator was modified in order to enhance electronic effi ciency. Further, a system of ion pump beam-on outgassing was made a part of the processing. The waveguide-helix impedance transition was improved. One tube which met all electrical specifications was shipped to the customer. (Author)
