ELECTRON BEAM PARAMETRIC AMPLIFIER,

Abstract

Research concerned a study of low noise para metric amplifiers. A commercially purchased L-band electron beam parametric amplifier was evaluated and a tutorial presentation of standard noise theory is given. Methods that can be employed to reduce the noise figure of a para metric amplifier are also discussed. (Author)
